Attrition

Hello, my name is Attrition.
I work in the library.
This is my war.

I died of breast cancer in Saga, Japan, 1946, after my home was destroyed in 1945.

I used to build ships.

My traits carried over into my new form.
The new doctors attempted to shave
the rest of my chest and make me boy.
Something they never completed.
They eventually became disinterested in me. Months passed, and there I remained.
Deformed, forgotten, and unloved.

Once they realized the monster I had become, they tried to take me out. But I refused to die. So they tried to auction me off to the highest bidder. At first, no one wanted me, but I was lucky enough to be sent here, to the iNORGANIC ACADEMY.

Now I have a place to live with others like me.
A home, a job, and one goal:
to be the Trinity Witch.

The Trinity Witch is the one who is at once
the student body president,
the valedictorian
and the most powerful practitioner of magic.

Some have come close,
but only two have proven worthy.

I’ll never be bigger than them.
I’ll never be stronger than them.
So I’ll have to be smarter than them.

I’ll learn their strengths.
Turn them against each other.
And create a series of proxy wars
where my challengers will fight each other. In the confusion, I’ll be able to slip through the cracks. I’ll make them work against chaos. A far greater opponent than myself.

And when its finally time to battle,
I can only hope the strongest of them is weakened.
Because I know they will not go easy on me simply because I’m smaller.

But no matter what it takes,
I will unify the positions.
Even if my path to the crown
is carved by my opponent’s blood.
I will be the Trinity Witch.
